Russian Tortoise

If taken care of well, Russian tortoises can live to be over 50 years old.

Although they are called Russian tortoises they can actually be found in other places than just Russia.

They have big and bulky shells and can grow to be six to eight inches long.

They are mostly active during the day.

Females are usually bigger than males.

They are herbivores. That means they eat plants or anything green.
