Corn Snake

Corn snakes are really good snakes for beginner reptile owners.

Corn snakes are smaller and more fragile than other snakes though. They are also faster than other snakes. They like to explore a lot.

They eat a mice or rat once a week and you should leave them alone for a few days afterwards.

They are very easy to care for. Just make sure their water bowl is always full.

Feeding too many mice/rats will make your corn snake fat.

If you get a baby it will be 8-10 inches. They will get up to 4-5 feet at full size.

It is not necessary to have a UVB light on the enclosure, but it will benefit the corn snake if you have one.

If you have a basking spot you do not want it to be too hot.
